In an attempt to add some rhythm to our week and to appreciate fully this favorite season of mine, I have decided we will go into the woods at least once a week. This past week the woods had a lot of mosquitoes so our adventure in was short lived and not photographed. Instead, we ate a beautiful melon.
Did a bit of
water coloring= mama painted a little, Asher pretended the brushes could talk- his typical behaviour with all art supplies, from clothes pins to crayons, to paper punches and sewing pins.
River was so happy to chew on the melon rind.
and crawl under the picnic table and be cute. we did enjoy the prairie garden and looked for insects.
This week we will be going in searching for seeds and leaves and hope to be joined by some friends.
