Freezer Paper Stencils

I am happy to report that this side of mommyhood, there is still making underway. Two weeks ago the crafty ladies and I have been able to finally get to freezer paper stenciling that I think I have been hoping to try out for the past 2 years. Luckily all the blank shirts i have been holing away from garage sales came in handy. I used my friend Katie's spiral print as some inspiration. Drew it on freezer paper- not quite so many details, and cut it out with an exacto knife.Iron the paper to the shirt or other fabric, with another backer of freezer paper in the inside or other side. Paint with fabric paint.Let sit overnight and peel off the paper.Iron the paint to set it.Try it on your cute kids.
Pretty instant gratification. I think you can peel off after an hour if the paint is dry, but best to leave overnight. If interested, we will be doing them again this week at my house Thursday night, 7:30, leave me a comment if you would like more details.
