We have a pretty serious addiction around here: fruit leather. I am so happy to have a dehydrator that makes things too easy so that we can indulge and delight in all the other seasons during the grey of winter.
Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries and Strawberries all frozen and squirreled away from summer, mixed with Apples harvested and sauced in the fall, with just a hint of last springs honey flow, a dash of lemon in the blender and spread thin (too thin, this batch is a little crispy.)
But man it is love. River devours them with his brother.
Then they try to eat each others and lick each others faces.
