The family and I went to a fiber festival southwest of Indianapolis the friday prior to easter and I picked up a lot of fun wool in all sorts of colors to try some needle felting. These are my first attempts at some birds for A, all done without a field guide, so nothing to accurate.
He is most obsessed with papa cardinals these days, and babies, so I made a baby cardinal as well as a nest for them.

Kate you are so amazing...I love these. We went to Hopewell, NJ last Saturday for a green/earth day market and someone had made little nomes fashioned in a similar way. Thought that would be cool for Asher's tree house. Missing you all, Meryl
